Dancing Heals new single "Diamonds"

Melbourne five-piece Dancing Heals have come up with another pop gem, with the release of their brand new single, "Diamonds", a mid-tempo track that marries longing with optimism, and features a climactic build that makes you want to close your eyes and throw yourself over the precipice of self-doubt, into the tantalizing opportunity of tomorrow.

A prolific live act that have created considerable ground swell in their hometown since their first gig together in early 2010, Dancing Heals dabbled their toes in the Los Angeles live circuit late last year, playing to captive audiences at venues such as The Key Club and Club Moscow.

Despite being invited back to the US by happy venue bookers, Dancing Heals have decided to focus on earning their stripes back home. When they're not gigging, they are hard at work in the studio, putting down tracks for their forthcoming debut album, and creating a music video for the single.

'Diamonds', is the first single from that album. The song has always been a highlight of Dancing Heals' live set, and they are thrilled to have their epic vision finally put to tape in a form that still captures the band's live energy.

Produced by Mandy Kane and mixed by Tony Espie (The Holidays, The Avalanches), "Diamonds" will be available for download on iTunes and other on line outlets, from April 25th, 2011.
